NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisc., continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft. The draft can be seen on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.
The Tennessee Titans own the first overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round opens up at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and two rounds will be concluded on the second day of festivities. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant,” pick No. 257.
What Time Will Jaguars Make Their First-Round Pick?
With the 5th overall pick, the Jaguars are estimated to be picking around 8:40 p.m. ET, based on their current position and each team taking 7-9 minutes per selection. Of course, trades always occur, and some teams run to the podium faster than others, but if you tune in 10-15 minutes ahead of that estimation, you should be in a good spot to see this pick be made!
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the Jaguars
From Jacob Infante’s latest mock draft on PFSN:
5) Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
“The Jacksonville Jaguars focused on their offensive line in free agency and added depth in the secondary. In this mock draft, though, they surprise and further boost the offensive line.
“Kelvin Banks Jr. has one of the highest ceilings in this offensive tackle class. He’s well-built with long arms, a strong anchor, and impressive agility. His hand usage still needs refining, but if he cleans that up, he could be a long-term starter anywhere on the line.”
36) Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
“After addressing their offensive line with their first-round pick in this mock draft, the Jaguars could look to boost the other side of the trenches with another one of their early selections.
“Kenneth Grant is a powerful defensive tackle who can eat up double teams and control the line of scrimmage. His combination of size, athleticism, and leverage makes him a disruptive force.”
