NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at the historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc., continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft.
The Tennessee Titans own the No. 1 overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round opens at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, April 25, and two rounds will be concluded on the second day of festivities. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant,” pick No. 257.
What Time Will the Bills Make Their First-Round Pick?
If the Bills stay at No. 30, they would be estimated to make their first pick at around 12:02 a.m. ET based on past trends and the rules for time between picks. That’s assuming each team takes roughly their full allotment of time on the clock, though. Prior years indicate the 30th pick could be made between roughly 11:52 p.m.-12:12 a.m. ET.
As a reminder, teams have 10 minutes to make their picks in Round 1. That decreases to seven minutes per pick in Round 2, five minutes per pick from Rounds 3-6, and four minutes per pick in Round 7.
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the Bills
In his latest seven-round mock draft, PFSN NFL Draft analyst Jacob Infante projects the Bills will select Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen with at pick 30.
“The Buffalo Bills have one of the NFL’s most complete rosters, but if they want to get past Patrick Mahomes and Co. in the playoffs, they need to continue building a strong defense.
“Walter Nolen has elite physical tools and put together a breakout season at Ole Miss in 2024. His speed, power, and urgency make him a potential disruptor at the next level.”
