The Arizona Cardinals led the NFC West for much of the 2024 season, but came up just short of the playoffs. However, after doubling their win total from 2023, postseason expectations are a realistic outlook entering next season.
As the Cardinals seek their first playoff berth since the 2021 season, let’s take a look at all of Arizona’s picks entering the 2025 NFL Draft, as well as PFSN’s final mock draft projection for the Cards.

Arizona Cardinals List of Draft Picks
Here are the Cardinals’ scheduled picks entering the draft:
- Round 1: No. 16 overall
- Round 2: No. 47
- Round 3: No. 78
- Round 4: No. 115
- Round 5: No. 152
- Round 7: No. 225 (from Jets through Chiefs)
NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisc., continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft. The draft can be seen on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.
The Tennessee Titans own the first overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round opens up at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and two rounds will be concluded on the second day of festivities. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant,” pick No. 257.
What Time Will Cardinals Make Their First-Round Pick?
With the No. 16 pick, the Cardinals are estimated to make their first selection around 10:10 p.m. ET, based on their current position and the average time it takes for each team to make a pick, which is 7 to 9 minutes. That’s assuming each team takes its full allotment of time on the clock.
Previous years indicate the 31st pick could be made between 10 and 10:20 p.m. ET. Trades always occur, and some teams run to the podium faster than others, but if you tune in 10 to 15 minutes ahead of that estimation, you should be in a good spot to see this pick be made.
As a reminder, teams have 10 minutes to make their picks in Round 1. That decreases to seven minutes per pick in Round 2, five minutes per pick from Rounds 3 to 6, and four minutes per pick in Round 7.
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the Cardinals
In PFSN’s final seven-round Mock Draft, the Cardinals ended up with Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden with the 16th overall pick. Here’s what PFSN’s Jacob Infante had to say about the potential pairing:
“The Arizona Cardinals have shown they can compete with anyone, but they’ve also been inconsistent. Adding one more weapon to pair with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride could help get their offense over the hump.
“A coordinated, intelligent route runner with impressive body control attacking the ball in the air, Matthew Golden has been the subject of plenty of buzz after a stellar playoff stretch and a great NFL Scouting Combine performance. He’s a well-rounded target who should be a strong complementary starting receiver in the NFL.”
