Night 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft will see Green Bay, Wis., come alive like it did for the opening round. With attendance ranging anywhere from 150,000 to 200,000 people, this year’s draft seems like one of the livelier ones in recent memory. Unfortunately, the NFL forgot to plan for spring, and the weather will not cooperate.
While the rain should hold off, the wind and bone-chilling gusts will make standing still an issue, the longer the draft continues.

Green Bay Weather Report for Draft Night 2
Situated on the Fox River, Green Bay’s weather fluctuated with the wind and the overall dearth of trees for large parts of the city. When Day 2 of the NFL Draft kicks off on April 25, the temperature will start at 48 degrees Fahrenheit, according to AccuWeather.
Now, that may seem tolerable, but remember that with no natural shielding, Wisconsin will see a chilling crosswind that will take the moisture off the Fox River, especially the northern area near any massive body of water.
Over the first two hours, the temperature will hover around 48 degrees. However, the appreciable lack of sunlight and a 27-mph gust will slice through any lighter jackets and clothing. So, that extra hoodie will become a must-wear item as the night progresses.
By 10 p.m., the temperature will drop to 44 degrees. More importantly, according to AccuWeather, the real feel hovers around 38 degrees. On Day 3, on Saturday, April 26, there will be sunny skies and a high of 56 degrees, which, in Wisconsin, feels like 90 anywhere else.
How Weather Could Affect Coverage of the NFL Draft
The 2025 NFL Draft is being held at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft.
The second round will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and Day 2 will feature two rounds of selections. The Cleveland Browns have the first pick of the second round. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant” at pick No. 257.
The 2025 NFL Draft is being broadcast on the NFL Network, ABC, and ESPN. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, FuboTV, and Sling TV are alternatives to catch the action.
With so many lights and cameras, television coverage will not be affected for the most part. However, for those attempting to livestream, parts of Green Bay do possess dead spots and lag that could make fan footage stall or even hesitate. Yet, anywhere in the vicinity of the Resch Center and near the stadium possesses a rather strong signal, so there will be little to no issue with satellite connection.
