What Time Is the Senior Bowl on Today?

  • Start Time: 2:30 p.m. ET
  • Date: Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023
  • Location: Hancock Whitney Stadium, Mobile, Alabama

The 74th Senior Bowl game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama — the stadium of the South Alabama Jaguars. The Senior Bowl will be broadcast live on NFL Network, by a team that includes Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis, Tom Pelissero, and Andrew Siciliano.

Each year, the Senior Bowl draws dozens of the top eligible NFL draft prospects to Mobile, to face off against one another and show their talents in front of NFL scouts. At the end of the week, the National Team and American Team clash in a tense battle.

In 2022, it was the National Team that bested the American Team in the final game, coming out on top by a score of 20-10. This year, the American Team will look to flip the script. The American Team is coached by Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, while Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham leads the National Team.

After the game is completed, an MVP will be announced.

The Senior Bowl practices often draw the most attention, but the game itself is important, as the culmination of the week’s work. Prospects sharpen each other in 1-on-1s and team drills throughout the week and are then able to apply what they’ve learned in a true game-like setting.

For evaluators, the game setting is important, as it shows which prospects are able to stack growth and deliver in a short time frame. But interviews, practice habits, and practice performances are ultimately just as vital to acquiring a full picture of a player’s ability and potential.
