The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Arizona Cardinals in a crucial Week 13 game. Besides the thrilling football action, the event will also feature a memorable halftime show celebrating the legacy of a football legend.
Halftime During Buccaneers-Cardinals Game Set to Celebrate Simeon Rice
The Buccaneers are set to honor their legendary pass rusher Simeon Rice during Sunday’s halftime show. It will be the team’s Ring of Honor Game, where Rice will become the 16th member added to the Buccaneers Ring of Honor.
Throughout the event, Rice’s impact on the franchise will be highlighted through several tributes. He will lead the team through the Hallway Walk before kickoff, and former head coach Jon Gruden will present him with his Ring of Honor jacket at halftime.
As part of the Tampa Bay Chef Series, Week 13 will feature Chef Suz Lara of LARA. She will serve a special Picadillo Tartar, a modern twist on a Cuban classic, available in the Hyundai Club, Stadium Club, and main concourse.
Nearly 60 Buccaneers players, coaches, and staff will also participate in the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign, wearing custom-designed cleats to support more than 40 charities chosen by each person. The Buccaneers will continue supporting local businesses through the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, welcoming members of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
With the halftime show set to honor the legend, Rice, the event will not only entertain but also make the iconic rusher’s fans feel nostalgic.
Week 13 Game Will Have a Huge Impact on Buccaneers’ Playoff Hopes
Over the past few years, the Buccaneers have dominated the NFC South. But this year, fans are worried if the team will even make it to the postseason. Despite having a talented roster with players like Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay is not in a comfortable position with a 6-5 record.
The Buccaneers had a strong start to the season with three straight wins, but their momentum faded as they lost five of their next eight games. Injuries have also played a major role, preventing the team from performing at its full potential.
The Buccaneers’ offense, led by Baker Mayfield, hasn’t been very impressive this season, currently ranking No. 25 on PFSN’s Offense Impact. But today’s game is a must-win situation if they hope to strengthen their position in the playoff picture.
Tampa Bay enters this home matchup with three consecutive losses, and a win has become crucial if they want to stay afloat in the playoff race. The Cardinals, on the other hand, come in with a 3-8 record and already seem out of playoff contention, but they would surely enjoy spoiling another team’s postseason hopes.
