As Kayvon Thibodeaux might know, the Philadelphia Eagles are world champions, which puts their fan base on a pedestal unlike any other this season. Of course, with higher visibility comes a greater chance for blowback.
One of the trademarks of sports is trash talk between fan bases, but one well-known New York Giants player has gone on record taking a shot at one of the Eagles’ highest-profile fans: Kevin Hart.

Kayvon Thibodeaux’s Shots Offer Bulletin Board Material for Philadelphia Eagles
Speaking in an April 29 edition of “Cold as Balls,” Hart was subjected to some brutal shots taken by the Giants linebacker, leaving him stunned.
“Is it true that Eagles fans are actually not smart? Like no bulls***,” he said. “I know you’re one of them, so I get it, like 2.2, I get it. There are like statistics that you guys are literally dumb as s***.”
The comedian is often the subject of shots taken by others on camera. However, getting called out by the linebacker in an interview in a tub might be new for the veteran comedian.
The dustup is just one example of the disdain between Eagles and Giants fans. Of course, Eagles fans have plenty of responses they could give about the Eagles. The dustups could lead to some added fire for the Eagles, potentially making them feel they need to protect their fans from getting verbally beaten up by giving them something to respond with.
Eagles Fans Already Have Plenty of Ways To Get Back at Thibodeaux and Giants
The shot was said to Hart, but it was directed at the millions of Eagles fans and the tens of thousands who show up at Eagles games. Of course, Eagles fans have plenty of responses in store, such as how the Giants have not been to a Super Bowl in almost 15 years, while the Eagles have been to three in that period.
Eagles fans can also say that they’ve had two 14-win seasons since the start of the 2022 season. The Giants’ most recent 14-win season was in 1986. If one takes out the unlikely Eli Manning Super Bowl runs, the Giants haven’t won a Super Bowl with a non-Manning quarterback since 1990. The Eagles have won two Super Bowls with two different quarterbacks since 2017.
Of course, every year is a new year, and the only relevant win in many books is the most recent one, which for the Eagles was winning the Super Bowl over the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs. Regarding production in 2024, the Eagles beat out the Giants in Defense+ metrics by PFSN.
Will the Giants change the momentum with their reworked offense starting in 2025?
