There were fights in the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts Sunday Week 2 contest. Except they weren’t on the field; they were near the concessions at NRG Stadium.
Fight Erupts During Second Half of Texans vs. Colts
Captured online by the account Skol Brothers, as many as four fans were seen getting involved in this scuffle during the third quarter.

It is not known what conversation or actions sparked the fight. But all four were identified as Texan fans who made the trip to Houston.
When fights like this break out inside an NFL stadium, it often points to fans being angered by their teams’ performance. In the case of Houston, Week 2 was supposed to be the home debut of prized No. 2 overall rookie and future of the franchise QB C.J. Stroud.
But on this afternoon, it was another rookie in Anthony Richardson of the Colts who ended up being on the dominating side. Watching Richardson outduel Stroud had to be frustrating for the home crowd.
Reactions Surface Online After Fight
Once the video of the scuffle went viral, the responses came in quickly, including one fan posting in amusement of the fan scrap fest.
“The best entertainment NRG Stadium has seen today,” they said.

Another fan, though, gave a more blunt take:
“It’s a rough time to be a Texans fan.”
One Texans fan decided to call out his own fanbase.
