Vikings-Jets Game Recap
The Vikings got off to a strong start in this contest, scoring 10 points in the first quarter, including a pick-six by Andrew Van Ginkel. In the second quarter, the Vikings scored another touchdown, with C.J. Ham punching it in from the goal line.
However, after trailing 17-0, the Jets responded just before halftime, as Aaron Rodgers connected with Allen Lazard for a 14-yard touchdown.
New York looked significantly better in the second half. Garrett Wilson had his best game of the 2024 season, with 13 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.
However, with 44 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Rodgers was picked off for the third time today, this time by Stephon Gilmore to seal the win for Minnesota.

This was a sloppy game, with the two teams committing a combined 19 penalties for 156 yards, plus five turnovers.
However, the story of this game was that both teams lost numerous key players to injuries. Aaron Jones suffered a hip injury in the first half and was ruled out. Sam Darnold exited the game at one point after a hit, but he was able to return.
For the Jets, Sauce Gardner exited the game in the third quarter to be evaluated for a concussion, and he did not return. Shortly after, Rodgers got banged up, although he stayed in the game. In the fourth quarter, Tyler Conklin also went to the medical tent after a productive day.
The Vikings improve to 5-0, just one of two undefeated NFL teams (along with the Kansas City Chiefs). Minnesota has never lost a regular-season international game in franchise history. After their Week 6 bye, Minnesota will host the Detroit Lions in Week 7.
Meanwhile, the Jets drop to 2-3. In Week 6, New York will host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
