WATCH: Joe Rogan Has Mind Blown After Jeremy Renner Explains What Exactly Ran Over Him in Near-Death Accident

Jeremy Renner apparently blew Joe Rogan’s mind with his narration of being run over by a vehicle in his accident that took place in 2023. The UFC color commentator and the Hollywood star even went through a few images of the vehicle that ran the latter over.

Joe Rogan Listens to Jeremy Renner’s Near-Death Accident Story

In episode No. 2312 of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan hosted Renner — an American actor, author, and veteran Hollywood personality. During the episode, they revisited the snow vehicle accident that befell Renner, after which he was hospitalized on Jan. 1, 2023.

Renner stated that he was celebrating the holidays with his family when the unfortunate incident transpired. Amid routine snow-clearing activities, a snowcat ran him over. He spoke about it being a near-death experience, where he believes he’d briefly died and later came back to life.

“I had to try to dig all that stuff out using the snowcat, pulling this stuff out. This thing, snowcat, to describe it in words is pretty difficult, but it’s like a tank. It’s probably, I don’t know, 12 feet wide. The tracks on each side, so it spins like a tank, like a skid steer,” Renner said.

As seen in the video, they proceeded to view images of a few snowcats. Renner further explained, “That’s a small tiny version of one. But yeah, it’s something kind of out of ‘Star Wars,’ you know? But this minor or metal tractor. Yeah, like that.”

They appeared to address a large tractor-like snowcat, which Renner claimed ran him over in the accident. He affirmed, “That’s it. That’s exactly like the one I have. So it’s about like 16,000 pounds or so. And it’s very nimble on the snow.”

Appearing to be stunned by it, Rogan chimed in and said, “Just to see it, physically, and to know that that’s what ran over your leg …” Renner then noted that it ran over his entire body. Rogan continued, “Oh God.”

Renner indicated that he made the mistake of stepping on the vehicle’s tracks while it was running, and it was headed towards his nephew, whom it would have crushed. He noted, “It was going towards my nephew. So I had to jump back on and try to stop it from killing him because it was going to crush him between the truck — and that big blade that I have. You see that thing? It’s a few thousand pounds.”

Both Renner and an amazed Rogan alluded to the actor’s survival and recovery as being truly miraculous. The accident had left him bleeding and with 38 broken bones. Thankfully, Renner was rescued and administered medical assistance after the accident and subsequently underwent extensive rehabilitation to recover.

Furthermore, Renner and Rogan also thanked medical science for helping him regain his ability to walk and successfully perform other daily activities.
