Tom Aspinall Shares Snap of the ‘Only Juice’ People ‘Will Catch Him on,’ Seemingly Throwing Shade at Jon Jones

Tom Aspinall has been firing shots at Jon Jones and is demanding that the UFC book a fight against him for the heavyweight title unification.

In a recent social media post, Aspinall seemingly took a jab at Jones, appearing to reference “Bones’” past failed drug tests.

Tom Aspinall Appears To Mock Jon Jones

Jones made his first title defense against former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 this past November. “Bones” delivered a dominant performance and secured a TKO victory in the third round.

Since then, Aspinall has been hoping to get a title unification bout booked against Jones. That said, the American has shown little interest in the matchup and has reportedly demanded adequate compensation for the fight.

Aspinall shared a snap of a fresh vegetable juice on his Instagram story and captioned the post, “The only juice you will catch me on,” along with a red no-entry symbol and injection emoji.

At first glance, it may seem like just another casual post. However, given his ongoing feud with Jones and the inclusion of the injection emoji, it appears the interim champion was taking a subtle dig at “Bones” and his past failed drug tests. The caption only adds to that interpretation, providing further confirmation of the jab.

Jared Cannonier Believes Aspinall Has Best Chance of Defeating Jones

Speaking to Mike Perry on the Overdogs Podcast, Jared Cannonier shared his thoughts on a potential showdown between Aspinall and Jones for the heavyweight title unification.

Cannonier believes Aspinall has the best chance of defeating Jones, especially when compared to the reigning heavyweight champion’s previous opponents.

“As a fighter myself, as a martial artist, Aspinall definitely has way more of a chance than Gane has. He has more of a chance than any other heavyweight, I think. Anybody he’s fought—more of a chance than Dominick Reyes, that everybody says he arguably lost that fight against,” Cannonier said.

Cannonier explained the reason behind his belief, stating that Aspinall has a more well-rounded fighting style and highlighting that the UK fighter possesses impressive speed for a heavyweight.

“I think Tom Aspinall is just a much better all-around fighter. On top of that, this guy’s a heavyweight. You don’t see heavyweights move. I’ve never seen a heavyweight strike the way this guy does in MMA. But this guy can wrestle, he can throw hands, he’s fast, he’s technical, you know what I mean? So he definitely has a chance to get it done,” Cannonier explained.

Meanwhile, Aspinall has been out of action since his interim title defense against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304, where he secured a first-round knockout victory.
