“The Baddy” also graced Conor McGregor’s pub, The Black Forge Inn, a couple of years back. Pimblett’s YouTube video about the same mentions that he “ate everything” available at McGregor’s facility.
Pimblett looks visibly buffed up in his social media updates when he is not training for an upcoming fight. Over the years, this has worried fans and MMA experts, sparking a debate on how healthy this practice is for a fighter of his caliber.
However, his heavy walk-around weight and binge-eating habits have never been an issue for him. Pimblett has mentioned that he cuts his weight down to the lightweight limit without much complication. He has never missed weight in the UFC either.
The Liverpool native had an equally smooth weight cut for his UFC 314 fight against Michael Chandler. Pimblett weighed in at the maximum permitted weight for a non-title lightweight fight, 156 pounds, for the encounter.
The 30-year-old also made a massive statement on fight night, with a third-round TKO victory over Chandler, a former title challenger.
However, he has now ballooned up to 198 pounds, which is 13 pounds heavier than the middleweight upper limit and a whopping 42 pounds more than what he weighed a week ago.
Pimblett blamed having multiple milkshakes for his massive increase in weight. He stated that his weight doesn’t go beyond the current level while staying in the UK, but it goes up when he’s in the US.
“On Sunday, I had about 5 milkshakes after the fight. This morning I woke up like 198, which is fat,” Pimblett said. “That’s about the heaviest I get; I never really touch 200 [pounds].”
‘Only if I’m in the States, the food just makes me into a machine. I’m massive in the States, but when I get back to the UK, the highest I reach is like 195 pounds.”

Pimblett is currently enjoying his best time in his UFC career since his debut. His dominant victory over Chandler has helped him boost his reputation massively in the community and earned him the No. 8 spot in the UFC’s official lightweight rankings.
A large chunk of fans are also counting him as the next big thing in the UFC after his UFC 314 triumph.
As of now, it can’t be said whether Pimblett will be able to fulfill those fans’ hopes by actually becoming a face of the UFC. But the legendary UFC fight announcer, Buffer, feels that Pimblett has all the qualities to achieve the spot.
