‘Took a Piece of Her Soul’ – Logan Paul Regrets Putting Fiancée Nina Agdal Through ‘Traumatic’ Dillon Danis Fight Buildup

Logan Paul is opening up about the emotional toll the Dillon Danis boxing match took on his personal life—particularly on his fiancée, Nina Agdal. The YouTuber-turned-WWE superstar faced Danis in October 2023 at The Prime Card, a bout that ended in chaos and disqualification, but it was the lead-up to the fight that left deeper wounds than any punch thrown in the ring.

On his new reality show, “Paul American”, Logan reflected on the bitter buildup and the consequences of choosing Danis as an opponent, calling it the biggest mistake of his life.

Fighting Dillon Danis Was the ‘Worst Mistake’ of Logan Paul’s Life

Paul didn’t hold back when discussing the lead-up to his fight with Danis. The online barrage of harassment, particularly targeting Agdal, left lasting damage.

“I was looking for my next big fight, and there was this guy that I thought could sell pay-per-view,s and so I chose him as my dance partner, and that ended up being the worst mistake of my life,” Paul admitted.

Paul, now a father, revealed the incident has changed the way he views the spotlight and how it can impact loved ones.

“It really took a piece of her soul, dude. It really f*cked with her a lot.”

He also emphasized that Danis had no real interest in a fair fight and instead used the platform to relentlessly target Agdal on social media. According to Paul, Danis posted over 400 edited and invasive photos of Agdal, weaponizing the internet to create buzz.
Agdal described the experience as “traumatic,” sharing how the daily onslaught of online hate pushed her to a breaking point.

“It was the most traumatic experience of my life,” she said, “Getting attacked by hundreds and thousands of people every single day, and wanting to do things I don’t even want to talk about to myself to try and escape the pain.”

Logan Paul Weighs In on a Potential UFC Career

Shifting gears to his future career, Paul also addressed the possibility of transitioning to mixed martial arts. Comparing himself to former WWE star CM Punk, who infamously struggled in the UFC, Paul made it clear that his path would be different.

“[CM Punk] f*d it up,” Paul said on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “And after that, Dana [White] was like, ‘I’m never doing this again.’ Dude, but, like, I’m not CM Punk. He’s a great wrestler, not a great UFC fighter.”

Paul believes his wrestling background, combined with his athletic versatility, would give him an edge if he entered the octagon.

“I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just be a boxer. My skill is wrestling.”
