In a recent social media post on X, formerly Twitter, Rogan disclosed his favorite motivational video. “The best motivation video ever made. “GOOD” by the great and powerful [Jocko Willink],” Rogan wrote.

Willink is a former US Navy officer who is now an author and podcaster. He is also on the board of directors of San Diego FC. The 53-year-old has appeared on Rogan’s podcast four times: episode #729, #962, #1391, #1492, and #1740. Episode #1391 also featured Tulsi Gabbard.

Fans on social media couldn’t disagree with Rogan’s pick.

“Still watch it to this day,” a fan wrote.

“It works. When I was watching this every morning, I was grinding with my workouts, and my diet was on point. I’ve slacked the last few weeks, so I appreciate the reminder,” a fan seconded.

“Hard to disagree,” another fan wrote.

A fan appreciated Rogan, commenting: “I get fired up every time I watch this video. Thank you, Joe.”

“Ty for sharing,” a second fan thanked Rogan.

“Didn’t get what you wanted? GOOD. Time to level up,” a fan wrote.

Rogan and a Navy SEAL Once Hailed Jocko Willink

On episode #1434 of Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator hosted Trevor Thompson, a Navy SEAL. During their talks, Willink came up, and the duo only had good things to say about him.

“He’s such an important person too because he’s both articulate and savage. He’s both a brilliant guy who is wise and humble, but also a fu**ing gorilla, you know. He’s a legit savage,” Rogan said of Willink.

The UFC commentator also shared what transpired in a grappling session with Willink and John Dudley, a professional archer.

“I think John had him in full guard. I might be fuc**ng this up, and Jocko put his knuckles into John’s neck and was, like, using a neck crank and compressing his neck from, like, either the guard or maybe even side control, and then had a knuckle in the throat. Popped a bone,” Rogan said.

Thompson had rolled with Willink on the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mat and had felt the strength of his fellow retired Navy SEAL. “It was like I was wrestling around with a sweaty piece of mahogany,” he said of the experience.

Thompson admitted Willink picked him with one hand, saying he was strong for a person his size, 175 pounds, and put him down.
