Jeremy Renner recently appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience, where the 54-year-old actor shared details of his horrific accident, which he miraculously survived. On 2023 New Year’s Eve, Renner was run over by a snowplow while trying to save his nephew.
Surprisingly, Renner recovered from the accident fairly quickly. Doctors credited his recovery to his health and fitness. He even became a cover story for Men’s Health magazine.
Which Co-Star of Jeremy Renner Reacted to Joe Rogan’s Post About His Accident?
Jeremy Renner recently published his memoir, “My Next Breath”, which is based on his freak snowplow accident. On Wednesday, the UFC color commentator Joe Rogan shared an Instagram post highlighting the memoir, which caught the attention of Renner’s co-star from Captain America: Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame.
“Jeremy Renner almost lost his life in a freak snowcat accident, and his story of recovery and how it changed his perspective is one of the most inspirational conversations I’ve ever had,” Rogan captioned the post.

“Real Captain America,” Frank Grillo commented on the post.

The 59-year-old portrayed Brock Rumlow / Crossbones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unlike Renner’s character, Hawkeye, who was among the superhero team, the Avengers, Crossbones was part of Hydra, an evil organization.
Grillo is also a martial artist who has trained with Jon Jones. He appeared in the popular MMA-themed movie The Warrior, which starred Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. Grillo portrayed Frank Campana, a coach who uses classical music to train his pupil.
The 59-year-old also starred in the popular MMA series, Kingdom. He portrayed Alvey Kulina in the series, which ran for three seasons. Kulina was a retired MMA fighter who worked as a coach.
Jeremy Renner Shares His Feelings About Joe Rogan
Jeremy Renner’s recent podcast episode with Joe Rogan lasted slightly over two hours. The duo discussed various topics, from pain medication to movies, to name a few. By the end of the podcast, the 54-year-old disclosed his admiration for the UFC color commentator.
“You make me happy man. You bring out a lot of good stuff in me. You reaffirm a lot of good things in me in a really really meaningful way, and I appreciate you. I appreciate you,” Renner said.
The actor said goodbye, reminding Rogan that they would see each other again, possibly at a UFC event. It won’t happen soon, particularly as Rogan’s next appearance on the commentary booth will likely be at UFC 316 on June 8.
The 57-year-old’s appearance in the UFC commentary booth is limited to PPV events in the USA. UFC 315, the upcoming PPV, is in Canada, a nation whose government has caught Rogan’s ire on one too many occasions.
