Joe Rogan Shares Hilarious Drunk Incident on UFC Tour With NFL Legend Aaron Rodgers

On episode #2325 of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, NFL legend Aaron Rodgers joined longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan, where Rogan shared a hilarious story about a drunken incident that happened to him at a bar in Belfast.

Joe Rogan Recalls Hilarious Belfast Bar Incident

In the episode, Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers discussed a wide range of topics. At one point in the conversation, Rogan brought up people with funny accents, which led him to recall a hilarious incident from a UFC trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Rogan dove into a memory that still makes him laugh. He shared that during one night out at a bar in Belfast, a local Irish man got drunk and, in a thick Irish accent, kept repeating that he wanted to fight. Rogan jokingly agreed with the man and remembered being open to getting drunk with the locals.

“The worst time I’ve ever had trying to understand people who are speaking English was in Belfast. We were in for UFC, and this dude from Belfast got drunk at this bar. I remember he just kept saying, “I will fight any man, ” Rogan said. “He just kept repeating it. He wasn’t even a big guy. I was like, “I believe you!” We were all getting hammered. That was back in the day when I could get drunk with locals.”

Furthermore, Rodgers expressed his curiosity and asked Rogan if he still gets drunk with locals while traveling to different parts of the world. In response, the UFC commentator brought up a recent altercation involving his friend and fellow comedian Theo Von.

Rogan explained that Von had a run-in with a fan who confronted him over a viral video, which escalated to a physical reaction from the comedian.

“Because, see, Theo Von got in an altercation in Nashville a couple of days ago. Some guy was messing with him for some viral video, and Theo grabbed him by the neck and pushed him away.”

Rogan explained that incidents like the one involving Von are common for famous people, and it’s one of the reasons he can’t go out and get drunk with locals anymore. He reflected on the past, expressing that those moments were special when he could still enjoy such freedom, “Back then, I wasn’t so famous, so I could go around, so it was fun.”

A few weeks back, Rogan made it clear that he won’t travel outside of America for any UFC events and has remained firm on his stance. He was recently seen on the commentary team at UFC 314, which took place in Miami this past April.

Rogan is also sober now–an update he provided in an Instagram post last month.
