Like many in the music industry, Jelly Roll is a UFC fan. The 40-year-old was at Madison Square Garden to watch UFC 309, headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. At the venue, the singer conversed with Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

White met Gary Brecka, an acclaimed human biologist, after hearing about the 54-year-old through a longtime friend, Kerri Kasem. White’s fascination with Brecka increased after learning that he was a mortality expert.

When Brecka did some tests on White in 2022. The 54-year-old only gave White 10.4 years to live. With a strict diet and workout plan, Brecka helped the UFC CEO towards a healthy lifestyle.

White hailed Brecka when he appeared alongside him in a short interview with Piers Morgan for Sky News Australia in 2023.

“To say that this guy has changed my life is the understatement of the century,” White said. “I mean, as I got to the 10-week point, I started to feel like I was in my 30s again. And now I’ve been with him a year and a half, and I’m not kidding you, I feel like I’m in my 20s. My level of productivity at work, my cognitive, my physical, I mean, just everything. This guy is a genius.”

After White’s huge compliment, Morgan asked Brecka what the original problem was with the UFC CEO. The biologist pointed out that White had metabolic syndrome, which is the leading cause of cardiovascular diseases.

Breck also shared what he did to improve White’s health. “We did three big things with Dana. We did hormone balance, we did nutrient deficiencies, and we did glycemic control, it controls blood sugar,” Brecka said.

The 54-year-old also gave a strict keto-diet prescription for White to follow, in addition to strict exercise and a workout routine.
