‘Banger’, ‘Fraud’ – Fans Share Mixed Reactions After Shara Magomedov Has Fight Booked Against Middleweight Making Quick Turnaround

Ever since his debut in the UFC, many MMA enthusiasts have been curious to see how UFC Middleweight Shara Magomedov’s journey in the promotion would unfold.

After going undefeated in his first 15 professional bouts, “Bullet” suffered a defeat in his last UFC outing. Now, many are interested to see whether he will be able to bounce back from the loss or not.

Shara Magomedov Has His Next Fight Lined Up in the UFC

Shara Magomedov will return to action soon and will go up against Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC Abu Dhabi. The event will be held on July 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A showdown between Reinier de Ridder and former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker will headline the card.

Barriault is coming off an impressive knockout victory against Bruno Silva at UFC 315. He also won a “Performance of the Night” bonus worth $50,000 for his impressive performance. So, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold in this middleweight encounter.

MMA fans also took notice of the fight announcement and shared their thoughts on social media.

One individual labeled the fight as a: “BANGERRR.”

One person took a dig at Magomedov, claiming he was fighting low-calibre fighters: “Back to fighting b*ms [I guess]. Fraud.”

Magomedov entered the UFC after building an impressive professional record of 11-0. “Bullet” was matchup against Barriault’s last opponent Silva for his promotional debut at UFC 294. The Dagestani outclassed his opponent and went home with a unanimous decision victory.
After that, Magomedov went on to win three more fights. He was then matched up against MMA veteran Michael Page for a showdown at UFC Saudi Arabia. The event took place on February 1 and the anb Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia served as the venue.
The night did not go well for “Bullet” as Page got the better of him and defeated him via. unanimous decision. The three judges scored the bout 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 in favor of “Venom”.
