‘So Fight Me Now’ – Eddie Hall Called Out by Heavyweight Champion in Conor McGregor Co-Owned BKFC

Following his controversial TKO victory at KSW last weekend, Eddie Hall has now been called out by Conor McGregor’s part-owned Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) heavyweight champion Ben Rothwell.

Hall made quick work of strongman legend Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 last weekend, winning by TKO in just 30 seconds. But the win came with some drama. Fans pointed out that Hall may have hit Pudzianowski in the back of the head during the finish.

Hall later addressed the situation on TikTok, saying it wasn’t intentional.

He explained, “Obviously, when he was on the floor, I was just hammerfisting…. I think I hit him once or twice in the back of the head. Then I heard the ref shout at me, and it clicked, and then I went back to the face.”

Further, Hall apologized for his actions and called it an accident: “So again, my apologies. This is my experience. I wouldn’t like to be hit in the back of the head, so I’m sorry, Mariusz. But these things happen. It was an accident.”

MMA Fighting shared “The Beast’s” comments on their Instagram, which caught the attention of Rothwell, who in the comment section called out Hall, writing, “So fight me now @eddiehallwsm LFG.”

Following the victory at KSW 105, Hall made it clear that he won’t be with KSW for long, is not interested in giving a rematch to Pudzianowski, and expressed that he wants to fight with his heroes that he looks up to.

Hall has expressed interest in bare-knuckle fighting and admiration for it. However, he also mentioned that if he ever did it, he would want to be paid a whopping compensation.

The UK star trained with UFC interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall for his KSW fight, showing he’s serious about combat sports. A potential move to BKFC and a fight with Rothwell could be on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Rothwell fought Mick Terrill in his most recent fight at BKFC Knuckle Mania 5. He performed well and secured a TKO victory within 40 seconds of the first round.

If the Hall and Rothwell matchup comes to fruition, it would be a great fight for the fans, as both bring heavy power in their hands.
