Dillon Danis Claims He Can Beat a ‘Gorilla Alone’, Gets Roasted by Fans Online: ‘You Couldn’t Beat Logan’

MMA fighter Dillon Danis is back in the spotlight for doing what he does best — talking big online and getting people riled up. After MrBeast tossed out a wild “100 men vs. one gorilla” scenario, Danis chimed in with a bold claim that instantly had fans laughing, debating, and dragging up his past fights.

The internet didn’t hold back, with users quick to remind Danis of his loss to Logan Paul and his canceled bout with KSI. But Danis didn’t stop there. He followed it up with another jab aimed squarely at KSI — and let’s just say he’s taking full credit for KSI’s uncertain boxing future.

Fans Mock Dillon Danis for Claim of Defeating a Gorilla Alone

It all started when YouTube star MrBeast teased a viral idea: 100 men versus one gorilla. Danis jumped into the comments and said he didn’t need help. “I’ll sign a waiver,” he wrote. “I don’t need 100 men. I can beat a gorilla alone.”

That bold comment sparked a lot of laughs — and some harsh replies — from fans. One fan mocked him by referencing his loss to YouTuber Logan Paul, commenting, “You couldn’t beat Logan.” Danis was disqualified in the sixth round of that fight after trying an illegal MMA move.

Another user expressed interest in the hypothetical matchup and said they would gladly pay to watch it, writing, “This is a PPV I’ll buy and a few million others might too.”

One fan joked about Danis’s previous fight with Paul, labeling the YouTuber as a gorilla, commenting, “I guess boxing Logan Paul is like boxing a gorilla.”

One X user suggested Danis should focus on returning to a winning streak, writing, “Try to beat one man first, little guy…”

Another fan added, “You might be foolish enough to try.”

Danis has fought only once in a boxing ring, when he faced Paul in 2023. Danis was scheduled to fight KSI in a boxing bout in Manchester on March 29, headlining the X Series 21. However, KSI withdrew from the bout due to illness, and the fight has been postponed. As of this writing, there has been no official announcement of a new date.

Danis Says He Retired KSI Without a Punch as KSI Struggles With Boxing Future

Following his withdrawal from the Danis fight, KSI expressed on his YouTube channel that he is unsure about his boxing career, highlighting all the problems he has faced and hinting at retirement from the sport.

”It’s so frustrating…My boxing career, since I’ve come back, has just been problem after problem after problem and just being unlucky over and over and over and over again. And it’s a shame. About the stress that I’ve gone through the past few years…Am I gonna retire? I don’t know. You know, am I gonna fight again? I don’t know.”

Danis, who has been firing shots ever since KSI’s withdrawal from their highly anticipated boxing bout, took notice of the X post and gave a savage response, writing, “I’ve retired KSI without even throwing a punch.”

As for his MMA career, Danis was scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson under the new MMA promotion GFL; however, its first two events were canceled.
