The list of UConn NFL Draft prospects and scouting reports is not very long. However, there are still two names that are looking to make it into the NFL this year.
UConn 2023 NFL Draft Scouting Reports
Brandon Bouyer-Randle, LB
Strengths: Well-traveled linebacker coming off a career season. Breaks down well and is quick as well as fluid getting to the action. Gets depth on pass drops and covers a good amount of area on the field. Stout run defender who quickly diagnoses plays, fires upfield to fill gaps, and sells out to make the tackle. Remains disciplined with assignments.

Weaknesses: Gets caught up in the trash or easily out-positioned from plays. Does not show great speed in pursuit despite his 40 time. Marginally productive for both Michigan State as well as Texas Tech prior to arriving at Connecticut.
Overall: Bouyer-Randle is a hard-charging linebacker who displays solid instincts and sells out to make plays. He possesses a good amount of upside and offers possibilities as a two-down defender if he ever completes his game.
Tre Wortham, CB
Strengths: Nice-sized cornerback who is best facing the action. Remains disciplined with assignments, tracks the pass in the air, and has a nice move to the throw. Stays with assignments, gives effort against the run, and fires upfield to make plays. Physical and mixes it up with receivers throughout the route.
Weaknesses: Struggles making plays with his back to the ball and does a lot of face-guarding. Makes plays after the fact. Not quick at flipping his hips in transition.
Overall: Wortham comes off a terrific campaign in which he intercepted four passes and broke up 10 more. He possesses next-level size, has shown a lot of development in his game, and offers possibilities as a zone corner.
