Since they started dating, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have enchanted the NFL community and sports fans worldwide. The pop icon’s entry into the football world has opened a new fan base for her, which is growing daily.
Its latest entrant is Kansas City Chiefs’ star guard Trey Smith, who has showered some high praise on the 14-time Grammy winner.

Travis Kelce’s Teammate Reveals Biggest Thing About Taylor Swift’s Personality
Kelce started dating Swift around September of 2023, and both he and the Chiefs have witnessed a significant rise in their popularity since. The pop icon has been a regular at the Chiefs’ games, and when asked whether her presence in the organization had resulted in any changes in the locker room, Smith said it was “super normal”.
“Not at all, man,” he replied on the “New Rory and Mall” show. “Like, honestly, it just was super normal, you know, being able to meet her early on and just talking to her.”
Smith further claimed that when he met Swift in person for the first time, he found her to be a beautiful human being.
“I think once you meet her as a human being, a person face-to-face and sort of understand her, you realize, like, man, she really is a beautiful human being. She’s awesome. She’s super nice. She’s thoughtful. She’s kind, you know. When she remembered my name, my sister’s name after meeting us like months later, like that, that meant a lot, you know, just a small thing.”
The 25-year-old further revealed that he wasn’t familiar with Swift’s popularity before seeing her at the Chiefs games, and the biggest thing he liked about her was how nice of a person she was.
“And for me, I didn’t know how big of a deal Taylor Swift was, how big of a star she is until she got there and I started realizing…but the biggest thing with Taylor is how nice of a person she is.”
Smith isn’t the only one to have spoken highly of Swift. Kelce’s lady love has also turned the Chiefs’ former return specialist Dante Hall into her fan.
“She is so down to earth,” Hall told TMZ. “She’s super witty. Super engaging, and just one hell of a human being. To be the most popular person on planet earth, to be that humble and that down to earth, I walked away being an ultimate Swiftie.”
Smith and Hall will continue to be impressed by Swift as Kelce returns to Kansas City for another season.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs placed a franchise tag worth $23.4 million on Smith and would look to retain him for a longer period.
