Travis Kelce Highlights His Emotions Following the Loss Against the Bills

The Bills took the lead early in the first quarter of the game and didn’t let up. They scored continuously, while the Chiefs’ offense was sporadic. With a record of 9-1, the Chiefs are almost guaranteed to make the playoffs. However, at this point, Kelce neither cares about that nor the winning streak.

“You don’t think about, ‘Oh, I really want to win this game so I can remain undefeated.’ No, we want to win this game because we have a lot of really close football games against the Buffalo Bills and we love f**king competing against them because they’re one of the best teams in the league,” said Kelce.

Speaking to his brother Jason Kelce, the 35-year-old shared honestly the amount of pain he felt after the loss. “I get fired up playing against the best teams in the National Football League, and I was fired up for this one, and I didn’t play my best.”

“That s**t, it f***ing pisses me off and it made me go right back into work on Monday after the game and get after it, find a way to make s**t right.”

The nine-time Pro Bowler ended the matchup with only two catches for eight yards. After the game, Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard shared his pre-game analysis on Kelce to the media. “I think the main thing is just having awareness of him (Kelce),” he said.

“He’s obviously one of the best tight ends the league’s ever seen, so having awareness of where he’s at, pre, post-snap, trying to get guys around him as much as possible, playing within our scheme and our system still but understanding he’s going to be one of the first options every pass play,” added Bernard.

Kelce will be back in action to avenge their loss against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 at Bank of America Stadium.
