Travis Hunter, one of the most desired prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, was once described by Deion Sanders as his other son, and Coach Prime is a man of his word.
A video uploaded via X (formerly Twitter) shows Hunter excited about getting his hands on some of Coach Prime’s iconic footwear. Being like a father figure, Sanders doesn’t have much to say.
In a playful exchange before practice, Hunter can be seen eagerly eyeing a selection of shoes from Sanders’ personal collection.
“I got these already on … layaway, so once he wear them, I get to take them,” Hunter jokes on camera while showing his options.

However, Hunter keeps on picking out more designs, with Sanders playfully agreeing to take his pick.
Travis Hunter Loves To Steal From Coach Prime
Hunter has always been having fun with Coach Prime, all in good humor. Colorado’s two-way sensation has been a crucial part of their 6-2 season so far, pushing them to bowl eligibility for the first time in eight years.
However, his relationship with the Buffaloes HC is growing deeper, and he is developing a reputation for his cheeky encounters.
During a fishing trip to Texas with Coach Prime last week, Hunter couldn’t resist snapping a picture while “stealing” Sanders’ boat. He posted the image on social media, captioning it, “Yes I stole his boat.”
This wasn’t the first time he’d gotten his hands on one of Coach Prime’s prized possessions. Earlier, Hunter was caught sneaking into Sanders’ office, where he nabbed a pair of LeBron-Prime sneakers, showing he’s not shy about raiding his coach’s collection.
Hunter took it even further by sharing a hilarious video of himself cruising around in one of Sanders’ smaller cars. Initially, Prime added a video of his garage showing his cars parked comfortably. Just hours later, the two-way star drove his Smart Fortwo off and captioned his post about it with “I done stole the whip.”
The Colorado coach replied to the incident with a comment, “Travis Hunter has to be stopped,” while tagging his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr.
Hunter didn’t stop at it as he bragged about snatching a pair of shoes gifted to Sanders by NBA star Ja Morant, showing that he loves to play practical jokes with his head coach as much as he likes to play football.

Hunter’s playfulness has become a bit of an ongoing joke often seen on videos from Well Off Media, with Sanders calling him a “thief” after the shoe heist.
