The Tennessee Titans want to build a playoff-quality team with younger players to support Cam Ward and Tony Pollard. The foundation of most franchises is the quality of the younger players. Football is a game of attrition, and younger players do not bounce back after nagging injuries. As a result, depending on team philosophy, younger players populate the same position, providing not only depth but also untapped athletic ability.
Seven of the 10 youngest Titans heard their names called during the 2025 NFL Draft, while the other three will enter their second season.
Top 10 Youngest Active Players on the Tennessee Titans
1) Elic Ayomanor, wide receiver, age 21
The youngest person on the Titans could end up as one of the most important. Tennessee needed a wideout to complement Calvin Ridley. Ayomanor loves the contested catch and can make moves in the open field.
2) Oluwafemi Oladejo, outside linebacker, age 21
While Arden Key holds on to the starting role as one of the edge rushers, the UCLA product looks to carve into that snap count. Oladejo brings more of a power approach to the game, which Key does not possess in any way, shape, or form.
3) Jackson Slater, guard, age 21
The former Sacramento State star, selected in the fifth round, affords the Titans the flexibility of playing all three interior offensive line positions. This season, he will apprentice behind Peter Skoronski and Kevin Zeitler.
4) Kevin Winston Jr., safety, age 23
Winston gives the Titans a hard hitter to back up Malik Hooker. He doesn’t offer much in the way of ball skills, but his run support and special teams will improve.
5) Cedric Gray, outside linebacker, age 22
The Titans will benefit from the return of the tackling machine, limited to seven games during 2024. Gray could push projected starter Otis Reese IV.
6) Gunnar Helm, tight end, age 22
A fourth-rounder from Texas, don’t count on Helm as a vicious, in-line blocker. Instead, he runs crisp routes, brings soft hands and finds soft spots in the zone.
7) JC Latham, right tackle, age 22
As a left tackle, Latham struggles, surrendering seven sacks last season. However, a move to right tackle helps the second-year starter by steering him away from the blindside.
8) Kalel Mullings, running back, age 22
The productive Michigan back, picked in the sixth round, will have a fight on his hands, trying to ascend a depth chart featuring more versatile backs ahead of him.
9) Cam Ward, quarterback, age 22
Ward will step on the field holding the hopes and dreams of an entire franchise and fanbase on his shoulders. The Titans have repeatedly struggled to find a franchise quarterback. The number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft can make every throw, extend plays, and keep his eyes downfield.
10) James Williams, linebacker, age 22
During his rookie season, Williams played in 13 games, starting one, with 26 tackles and a fumble return. Also, he played 264 snaps on special teams.
