As the Tennessee Titans begin preparations for the 2025 NFL season, emphasis will once again be on the veteran players to lead the franchise. As the most experienced members of the team, they will largely influence the team’s success in this campaign.

Top 10 Oldest Active Players on the Tennessee Titans
1) Morgan Cox, Long Snapper | age 39
The team’s elder statesman, Morgan Cox, joined the Titans in 2021 after playing 11 years for the Baltimore Ravens. Cox was a first-team All-Pro in 2020 and has made the Pro Bowl five times in his 15-year career.
2) Johnny Hekker, Punter | age 35
An undrafted free agent in 2012, Johnny Hekker spent the first 10 years of his career with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams. He was a first or second-team All-Pro for six straight years from 2013 to 2018, and won Super Bowl 56 with the Rams. Hekker joins the Titans after three years with the Carolina Panthers.
3) Kevin Zeitler, Guard | age 35
Kevin Zeitler has been one of the more durable NFL players over his 13-year career. Zeitler was a first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and spent his first five years with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, and Detroit Lions before joining the Titans in 2025. He’s never played fewer than 12 games in a season.
4) Brandon Allen, Quarterback | age 32
A career backup, Brandon Allen was a sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Tennessee will be Allen’s sixth stop. He didn’t play a snap until 2019 with the Denver Broncos. He’s started 10 games and appeared in 18, amassing a 2-8 career record.
5) Tyler Lockett, Wide Receiver | age 32
Tyler Lockett joins the Titans after 10 years with the Seattle Seahawks. Lockett was a first-team All-Pro as a rookie and became one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL. In 2024, he totaled 49 catches, 600 yards, and two touchdowns.
6) Corey Levin, Center | age 30
Corey Levin was a sixth-round pick of the Titans in the 2017 NFL Draft. He lasted two years before bouncing around to four other teams. He rejoined Tennessee in 2021 and has been up and down from the practice squad.
7) Tim Boyle, Quarterback | age 30
A journeyman, Tim Boyle, was undrafted in 2018 and had been on seven teams before signing with Tennessee this offseason. Boyle has started only five games over his seven-year career, throwing for five touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
8) Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver | age 30
Calvin Ridley was a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and spent his first five years with the Atlanta Falcons. He was a second-team All-Pro in 2020 after posting 1,374 yards, 90 catches, and nine touchdowns. He joined the Titans in 2024, totaling 64 catches, 1,017 yards, and four scores.
9) Sebastian Joseph-Day, Defensive Tackle | age 30
A 2018 sixth-round pick, Sebastian Joseph-Day, spent the first four years of his career with the Los Angeles Rams. He arrived in Tennessee in 2024 and posted 44 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 17 games.
10) Xavier Woods, Safety | age 29
Xavier Woods was a 2017 sixth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys. He played four years in Dallas before playing for the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers. Woods joins the Titans after posting a career high of 119 tackles last season, along with six pass breakups and three interceptions.
