    Paula Badosa Enjoys Scenic Ocean Views As Matteo Berrettini Spends Time With Family During Duo’s Maldives Trip

    Spanish star Paula Badosa and Matteo Berrettini, who won the 2025 Davis Cup Finals with Team Italy, accompanied by their families, shared admirable glimpses of their trips from the stunning Indian Ocean island of the Maldives.

    The two notable players attended the LUX Tennis Star Event at Patina Maldives, with Badosa sharing the court from November 25 to 26, and Berrettini from November 27 to 30.

    World No. 25 Badosa, who ended her season prematurely due to recurring and new injuries, was seen enjoying her vacation in the Maldives, where she also attended the private coaching event LUX Tennis Star. During this unique opportunity, interested individuals can receive private coaching from ATP and WTA stars.

    Through her recent Instagram post, Badosa reflected on her experience, highlighting that she feels grounded, calm, and disconnected from the pressure and stress at the scenic island of the Maldives, further adding that the location always brings her peace and positive energy, “The sea will always be the place where I reconnect with myself and escape the noise…Maldives you’re always amazing 🩵”

    Badosa, the 2025 Australian Open semifinalist, will be in action at the 2026 Adelaide International, along with other top WTA and ATP players.

    Berrettini reached the Maldives after concluding his impressive 2025 Davis Cup Finals, in which his team defeated Spain to clinch their third consecutive title at SuperTennis Arena Bologna Fiere, Bologna, Italy.

    Italy has won Davis Cup titles in the past, including in 1976, 2023, and 2024. Along with Berrettini, the lineup featured Flavio Cobolli, Lorenzo Sonego, Andrea Vavassori, and Simone Bolelli, captained by Filippo Volandri.

    They surpassed Spain with a concluding score of 2-0. In the first match, Berrettini gave the Italians the lead by defeating Pablo Carreño Busta, and in the second match, Jaume Munar lost to Cobolli. After wrapping up his successful Davis Cup run, Berrettini traveled to the Maldives to participate in a private coaching event while also spending time with his family and celebrating his brother’s birthday.

    Through his Instagram post, he shared an admirable glimpse of her family, adding, “Family Day 🏝️🇲🇻 #Maldives ♥️” Berrettini’s younger brother, Jacopo, who is also a talented ATP player, turned 26, and while wishing him on his special day, the former added, “+27 così ❤️🎂.”

    Furthermore, the Italian star also shared a beautiful glimpse of the beachside, featuring white sand, a clear sky, and sunshine. Through his Instagram story, Jacopo also revealed a glimpse of himself with his partner on the beach, to which he added, “❤️.”

    Along with Badosa and Berrettini, Aryna Sabalenka, Belinda Bencic, Jelena Ostapenko, Marketa Vondrousova, and Kateřina Siniaková were also vacationing in the Maldives.
