The Italian recently admitted to being “thrown” out of his accommodation during Wimbledon, stating:
“They kicked me out of my house. I have to change apartments .The lady didn’t renew our rent. What should I do, change apartments in the middle of the tournament? We didn’t complain… but when you find yourself not sleeping like I did, you always try to find a solution.”
“The hotel is the last resort. Here they are far away. I went to dinner in Chelsea, it took me an hour and twenty minutes,” he added.
Cobolli’s next challenge at Wimbledon is facing Miami Open champion Jakub Menšík in the third round.

Besides talking about the housing issue, Flavio Cobolli also addressed his upcoming match against 15th seed Jakub Mensik. The 23-year-old said that it would be an open match and that he felt stronger physically.
“Menšík is very strong, we have a great relationship and I know him well. I expect a battle, but I think it will be an open match, difficult for both of us,” Cobolli said. “He has a heavy ball and the head of a champion. His serve is strong and precise and in response he knows how to put you in difficulty. Physically, however, I feel stronger.”
The upcoming third round match at Wimbledon will mark Cobolli’s first ever meeting with Jakub Menšík, and whoever wins, will face either Marin Čilić or Jaume Munar in the fourth round of the grass-court Major.
