Christian Watson and Aaron Jones, each being questionable tonight, certainly impact how you should bet Romeo Doubs player props for the Green Bay Packers‘ Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
With Watson out with a hamstring injury for the first three weeks, Doubs is tied with rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed for the most targets on the team with 20 apiece.
Doubs’ three receiving touchdowns lead the team, including scoring the go-ahead TD with 2:56 remaining to complete the Packers’ comeback down 17 points last week.
Not only did Doubs score the game-winning TD last week, but he also tied his career high for receiving yards in a single game with 73 yards. Doubs’ 12 targets were the most he had ever had in a game, and it was the first time in his career he had 10 or more.
In a pivotal early-season divisional matchup hosting the Lions, who are currently the betting favorites to win the NFC North, how should you be approaching Doubs’ player props tonight?

Doubs Betting Trends and Stats
Among all wide receivers with at least 15 targets so far this season, Doubs currently ranks 19th in expected points added (EPA) per route at 0.096. He is sandwiched between two of the best wide receivers in the NFL: Justin Jefferson (18th) and Stefon Diggs (20th).
Doubs Best Bet
There is a ton of juice on the under for Doubs’ receptions prop tonight, as 60% of his 20 targets for the season came last week, and the Packers might be getting both Watson and Jones back tonight.
Doubs, however, ranks just 168th in the NFL this season in catch rate at 55%. Much of this can be attributed to Love’s low completion percentage of 53.1%, as he is leading starting quarterbacks in aDOT so far this season.

There is some positive regression coming Doubs’ way, but even at plus money, it’s hard taking his receptions over without knowing the statuses of both Watson and Jones.
With how Love “loves” to throw the ball downfield, I can see Doubs going over his longest reception prop, regardless of who is active tonight.
Doubs Best Bet: Lean over 18.5 yards longest reception (-114 at DraftKings)
