The Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson relationship took everyone by surprise. Due to the sheer age difference between the two, Hudson is 24 compared to Belichick’s 73, leaving people uneasy. But over the past few weeks, the situation has gone from uneasy to downright unbelievable.
However, a new line was drawn in regards to her involvement at the University of North Carolina, where Belichick has taken over as the new head coach for the Tar Heels football team. Hearing about the situation, Rob Gronkowski, a longtime friend and former player on the New England Patriots, had some strong comments to make.

Since Belichick took the job at UNC, the involvement of Hudson has become a prominent topic in the media spotlight. Whether it was specific amendments to their social media activity and marketing, or outright controlling an interview for the legendary coach, her control raised many eyebrows.
Eventually, her involvement ceased with Pablo Torre breaking the news about Hudson being banned from the football facility. Moreover, she wasn’t allowed to enter the football building or field as well, with the decision coming from the same folks who hired Belichick in the first place.
However, on their end, the Tar Heels have denied any such decisions, outright stating that no ban was placed on Hudson. But with this news being one of the strangest additions to this saga between the couple, Rob Gronkowski chipped in with some hilarious quips about his former coach.
Admitting to the hilarity of the situation, given Belichick’s super stern reputation, he said, “When you were on the Patriots, the whole goal was to eliminate all the distractions that can possibly happen while you’re on the team. Don’t bring those distractions to the team and the locker room.”
However, with the Tar Heels now front and center with this controversy, it has certainly been a dramatic U-turn from the six-time Super Bowl Champion’s own teachings.
“We’re just looking down at the program in North Carolina, and it just feels like there is distractions 24/7 down there. There’s no football talk at all. So, that’s what’s kind of silly about it and kind of questioning as well, ‘What happened to eliminating every distraction?'”

Reportedly, even the head coach’s family has been worried about the control Hudson has had over his decision-making. Whether the ban is real or not will become clear sooner rather than later. But, as Grokowski pointed out, it is yet another distraction for the program to deal with.
