“I’m Tired of F—ing Losing” – Raiders’ Josh Jacobs Voices His Displeasure With the Team’s Performance

When the losses start to pile up, the frustration comes out. Such is the case for Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, who is tired of the losing.

Nobody enjoys losing. Nobody does anything in life intending to lose; when you put hard work and sweat into something, it is only natural to want positive results. When those results don’t come, frustration is expected. You can put Las Vegas Raiders star running back Josh Jacobs in the frustrated category, and he is letting it be known.

Through the season’s first month, the Raiders are a disappointing 1-3, and the frustration is clearly mounting within that locker room. There has been turmoil and off-the-field issues clouding the team’s start to the year. Despite all that, wins are an excellent way to put that to the side, but the team just has not been able to do that consistently thus far.

The Raiders’ latest loss came at the hand of a division rival, Los Angeles Chargers, 24-17.  Jacobs spoke after the fact and has had enough of the close-but-no-cigar games they have been a part of so far.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

‘I’m Tired of Losing, Just Keep It 100, I’m Tired of F—Ing Losing’

Jacobs was very matter-of-fact when speaking with the media after the game, and despite some silver lining being mentioned about the Raiders keeping games close, the star running back is unconcerned with that. He just wants the results.

Strong words from one of the Raiders’ biggest stars. It isn’t far-fetched to assume that if Jacobs is feeling this way, it’s probably a shared sentiment within that locker room by many others as well.

Things can spiral out of control in an NFL season very fast, and if the Raiders want to have a chance in a very deep AFC, some sort of change needs to take place now.

It’s Been a Struggle for Josh Jacobs This Season

The talent Jacobs possesses is evident. The 2022 NFL rushing leader is clearly capable of putting an offense on his back and carrying a team when called. However, through the first month of the season, it has been tough sledding for the running back, and it’s probably no coincidence that the Raiders are struggling as a result as well.

Through four games, Jacobs has carried the ball 62 times for only 166 rushing yards, good for only 2.7 yards a carry, with one touchdown to speak of. Those are pedestrian numbers for any back in the NFL, especially for a man with his skill and pedigree.

Finding a way to get Jacobs going may be what this team needs, and a concerted effort to do so may go a long way in getting this season back on track in Las Vegas.
