It is nearly a week until the 2025 NFL Draft from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Following their National Championship victory, there is no question that a plethora of Ohio State Buckeyes will come off the board, and early at that.
Ohio State’s impressive running backs room of TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins continues to receive attention as the big day looms. With both touchdown makers having the potential to land anywhere from Round 1 to Round 3, it is simply a matter of where in the early rounds they go and not a matter of if.

Quinshon Judkins Joining Chip Kelly on Las Vegas Raiders?
Judkins — the three-time 1,000-yard rusher at Ohio State — joined Kay Adams on “Up & Adams.” Here, Adams asked a variety of questions regarding draft day and the possibility of rekindling old friendships. Chip Kelly’s name was at the tip of his tongue.

Judkins played for Kelly at Ohio State where he served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach before leaving campus to join the Raiders as their new offensive coordinator. According to Judkins, the last time he and Kelly spoke was at the NFL Combine.
“I had a formal with the Raiders at the combine and I got to see him again and everyone else that was in the room from their staff,” Judkins told Adams. “It was just awesome to get to see him and see how he’s thriving in the new culture. I’m happy for him [because of] the success that we’ve had together, and to see him go do special things on the next level.”
Then, Adams asked the 6-foot running back how a potential reunion in Las Vegas would be for him.
“I mean, it would be great,” Judkins said. “I love that way that his versatility with using me this past year, this past season, different ways he can get me the ball. We can just draw stuff up on the fly.
“You love coaches like that because they care about how players think about the game and how certain things work out. He cares about the players’ opinion and I think that’s solid as a coach because it matters.”
The Raiders’ current RB room consists of two main names. Zamir White and Raheem Mostert. The latter back recently joined the squad on a one-year $1.6 million deal.
Ohio State Star Lands With Dynastic Chiefs in Recent Mock Draft
A recent 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from PFSN’s Jacob Infante sees the Ohio State product come off the board early in Round 3. Infante believes it will be the Kansas City Chiefs who bolster their running back room with the 66th overall pick.
Following a year where their RB room was riddled with injuries, the addition of Judkins may be a wise one. Infante further elaborates on Judkins’ skill set in his 2025 Draft Scouting Report.
Infante wrote: “Blessed with a well-built frame and possessing top-notch speed and explosiveness, Judkins is a powerful runner who hits the open running lane hard and has the athleticism to take advantage of what the offensive line gives him. It’s no surprise he tested as a 98th-percentile athlete at running back at the 2025 NFL Combine.
“The ball-carrier vision Judkins has shown on tape is promising, but he’ll need to be more consistent in how he processes up the middle when he needs to gain more than just a yard or two. Additionally, improving his pad level as he runs could help him change direction better.”
There is no determining how high or low Judkins will go in the 2025 NFL Draft. His placement will be heavily influenced by how the RB position is valued by NFL brass across the league.
