Fantasy Injury Update: Puka Nacua, Tyler Lockett, and Emari Demercado Impacting Week 11 Fantasy Rankings

Here is a look at some key players in fantasy football who could potentially be dealing with injuries during Week 11 of the NFL season.

Fantasy football managers are entering a stretch that they hope results in a playoff run and even a fantasy championship. One thing that can derail those hopes is injuries to key players, which can happen at any moment.

There are a few athletes who are battling injury issues that could play a role in Week 11. Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua, Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett, and Arizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado are three guys who could have big weeks, but what is their status for their games?

Latest News and Injury Updates Impacting Fantasy

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are coming off a bye, as they prepare for their Week 11 home matchup against the Seahawks, but they are still dealing with some injury issues.

Star rookie WR Puka Nacua is still nursing a knee injury that he suffered during the 20-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago. It is still bothering him enough that he missed Wednesday’s practice, but according to coach Sean McVay, it was a preventative measure.

For Nacua, seeing what he does in the next two days will go a long way in determining if he goes, but it sounds right now like Nacua will be playing. This is a good sign for the Rams because they are also expected to get QB Matthew Stafford back.

The Rams are at a make-or-break point of their season, and getting Stafford back with a healthy Nacua is huge.

Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks

If you were a fantasy football manager who had Lockett in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders, you were ecstatic with his performance. He finished the game with eight catches for 92 yards and one touchdown.

He has been up-and-down the last five weeks. He has had three games with at least six catches and 81 yards, but sandwiched in between that performance are games of four catches for 38 yards and three catches for 32 yards.

Now, he is dealing with a hamstring that caused him to miss Wednesday’s practice. The fact he didn’t practice could cause some concern, but it is still too early to panic about him not playing. Lockett is a veteran, and with any injury, teams are going to be cautious with those players. Now, if Lockett is missing Thursday or Friday’s practice, then it is time to worry. But right now, then it wouldn’t be a surprise at all to see Lockett.

Emari Demercado, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Demercado was starting to become the go-to running back for the Cardinals when he got hurt against the Baltimore Ravens. In the previous two games to him getting injured, he had 13 and 20 carries. The Cardinals have had to deal with a lot of injuries this season, but they have still been one of the best running teams in the league.

Entering Week 11, the Cardinals are currently ninth in rushing and averaging 126.5 yards per game.

One reason why Demercardo was getting the ball so much was because RB James Conner was out. He got back last week against the Atlanta Falcons and he had 16 carries for 73 yards in the game. The Cardinals got QB Kyler Murray back last week, and he showed he was ready, going 19-of-32 passing for 249 yards.

Demercado was back at practice on Wednesday, but he was limited. While it is still questionable if he is going to play, his fantasy value won’t be that high. With Conner back, it is hard to see Demercado having a role this week or moving forward.
