Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Is Married to High School Sweetheart, Brittany

Mahomes is married to his high school sweetheart, Brittany Mahomes. They began dating in 2012, when Patrick was a sophomore and Brittany a junior at Whitehouse High School in Texas.

The couple didn’t attend college together. Brittany attended the University of Texas at Tyler to play soccer, while Patrick attended Texas Tech to continue his football career.

Both excelled in college athletics, and they eventually played professionally. Brittany signed with an Icelandic professional soccer team in 2017, and Patrick was drafted by the Chiefs the same year.

They continued dating through Patrick’s first three NFL seasons. In September 2020, he proposed to Brittany, and they married in 2022. The couple now has three children: Sterling, Bronze, and Golden Raye.

Brittany has long supported Patrick’s NFL career. In 2023, he told People Magazine how she helps him be the best quarterback he can be.

“I have a great wife. I think that helps out a ton. She helps me out a ton by taking stuff off my plate,” he told People. “I have great people around me and I can be Patrick Mahomes. I can be myself, the same person I’ve grown up being, and luckily that’s won a couple of Super Bowls.”

Brittany and Patrick have been together for over a decade and have become one of the most famous couples in the NFL.

Who Are Mahomes’ Parents and Siblings?

Patrick’s parents are Randi Martin and Pat Mahomes. They married in the 1990s but divorced in 2006. Both remain very supportive of their superstar son.

Randi is an entrepreneur, and Pat was an MLB pitcher from 1992 to 2003. Both have been spotted attending Chiefs games to cheer on Patrick.

In a 2020 interview with ABC, Randi revealed that Patrick nearly quit football during his junior year of high school, but she told him he would regret it, showing off her motherly intuition.

“Before his junior year in high school he came to me that summer wanting to quit football, but I just said, ‘you’re going to regret it if you quit,” she told ABC.

Pat also spoke about Patrick’s childhood, explaining to FOX in 2021 that he encouraged his son to pursue sports from age seven.

“I tell him, ‘Players make plays, and I love you,'” Mahomes Sr. told FOX. “That’s our thing we’ve had since he was 7 or 8 years old. I tried to reinforce it every game, whether it was two games a week in baseball or basketball or one game a week in football.”

While together, Randi and Pat had another child, Patrick’s brother Jackson, who is a social media influencer involved in several controversies during Patrick’s career.

After their divorce, both of Patrick’s parents had additional children. Patrick has four half-siblings: Grant, Avery, and Zoe on his father’s side, and Mia on his mother’s side. Little is publicly known about any of them.
