Patrick Mahomes has become one of the most successful athletes of his generation, and he’s been well-compensated for it. With that success, he was able to help fulfill a special dream: surprising his mother, Randi Mahomes, with a new home.
The $825,000 house came as a gift from Patrick, his brother Jackson Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Randi Mahomes Shares Pictures of Her $825K Home
Randi shared a post on Instagram showing off the surprise gift and expressing her gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.
“Home is where the heart is — and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family @patrickmahomes @brittanylynne @jacksonmahomes and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing. Being a Mom and Grandi is the greatest joy of my life, and I’m so thankful for the love that surrounds me every day. Here’s to new memories, laughter, and love in this beautiful new home.”
She also shared photos of her new space on Instagram Stories, including a peek into her gaming room, asking followers for suggestions on what to add.
According to Realtor, the home features a formal dining room, a primary suite with a spa bathroom, and a butler’s pantry. The land was purchased in 2023, and the custom-built home was designed with comfort and luxury in mind. With Patrick’s 10-year, $450 million contract extension signed in 2020, a purchase of this scale was well within reach.
Before moving into the new house, Randi sold the family’s longtime home in Tyler, Texas — the place where Patrick and his siblings grew up. It was an emotional decision, marking the end of an era for the Mahomes family.
While moving on from a childhood home can be bittersweet, the love and memories that made the old house special are simply shifting to a new chapter. With the continued support of her family, Randi’s new home represents not just a gift but the foundation for many new memories to come.
Patrick and his Chiefs are coming off a frustrating loss in Super Bowl 59 to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs failed to muster any meaningful comeback in the 40-22 blowout. But with three Super Bowl rings and two MVP trophies already to his name, Patrick will be eager to get his Kansas City squad back on top.
Time might be running out to get one more ring with this core group. Though Mahomes is likely to play for years to come, this could prove to be Travis Kelce’s last NFL season.
