The Bills finish 3-0 in the 2021 preseason, but they have actually won eight consecutive preseason games. Allen picked up where he left off last season, looking poised and confident in the pocket. He left in the second quarter, finishing with 194 yards and 2 touchdowns on 20-26 passing. He and WR Gabriel Davis were in sync, as Davis caught all 5 of his targets for 75 yards and a score.

WR Cole Beasley also looked stellar on the field, despite his controversy off of it. He reeled in 4 passes for 52 yards from his star QB. The Packers needed second-year QB Jordan Love to play well in order for them to have a chance in this one. Well, while he didn’t play terribly, he wasn’t exceptional.

Love left the contest going 12-18 for 149 yards and 1 interception. Although he got Green Bay within scoring distance three times, they left the contest with zero points. His first drive ended with a turnover-on-downs at Buffalo’s 1-yard line. HC Matt LaFleur decided to run the ball three straight plays before giving Love the chance to throw on 4th and 1, which fell incomplete.

On the next drive, Love continued to look sharp up until he just lofted a pass to the end zone with pressure in his face, resulting in a Micah Hyde interception. As the second quarter was winding down, the Packers were once again in scoring range, but Matt Crosby missed a 28-yard field goal wide left.

In the end, the Bills were the more physically imposing team, with the defense making countless stops. Still, RB Kylin Hill and WRs Malik Taylor and Reggie Begelton looked impressive for the Packers in their preseason finale.
