Packers vs. Cowboys DFS Picks: Top Options Include Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Tony Pollard

In search of some NFL DFS picks for Super Wild Card Weekend? Look no further -- here are the best plays for the Packers vs. Cowboys clash.

We all love a good storyline. One of the best heading into Super Wild Card Weekend is current Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy playing the team he coached 13 years — the Green Bay Packers — in the first round of the playoffs.

Another great storyline to be aware of heading into the NFL postseason is that it isn’t too late to still get some wins to start the 2024 calendar year over on DraftKings! Let’s take a closer at my DFS fantasy football picks heading into the matchup between the Packers and the Cowboys.

Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys Top DFS Picks on DraftKings

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys ($18,300) | Captain

The production from Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb this year has been nothing short of spectacular.

His 135 receptions, 1,749 yards, and 12 TDs are all career highs, and they have the 24-year-old set up as a top-five pick in fantasy football heading into next season.

There’s no reason you shouldn’t continue to take advantage of Lamb’s dominant play while the Cowboys are still in the postseason. He has caught a minimum of 13 passes in two straight games. You did not read that incorrectly.

In this full-PPR format, Lamb needs to be in your lineup and certainly has a strong case to be the captain of your DFS team in this showdown format.

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys ($11,400)

I highly recommend stacking Dak Prescott with Lamb if you’re going in that direction for this contest. If you want to flip Lamb to Prescott for your captain spot then you won’t hear much of an argument from me.

Prescott has been outstanding for the majority of the 2023 campaign, finishing with 4,516 passing yards and 36 passing TDs.

The Cowboys average 37.4 points per game at home this season. Expect a big day from Dallas’ offense.

Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys ($8,800)

Speaking of Dallas’ offense, Tony Pollard has been the leading man in the Cowboys’ backfield for the entire season.

Somehow, he has been productive and a disappointment all at the same time. Perhaps it has to do with his 30 red-zone carries — second most in the league behind only San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey — but just six rushing touchdowns this year.

The scoring opportunities and total touches are certainly there for Pollard to have a monster fantasy day every week, which makes him a great buy. However, his lack of efficiency this year makes him a risky play for your captain spot.

Jalen Tolbert, WR, Dallas Cowboys ($2,000)

Jalen Tolbert scored his second touchdown of the year in the season finale against the Washington Commanders. He finished the 2023 campaign with 22 receptions for 268 yards and two scores.

The complementary pieces of the Cowboys’ offense are capable of having some spike weeks in production if the offense gets hot early at home.

Tolbert is a very cheap pay-down option, who could be useful if he continues to see the type of opportunity he has seen over the last three games.

Tucker Kraft, TE, Green Bay Packers ($3,600)

Packers TE Luke Musgrave returned from injured reserve to play in the season finale against the Chicago Bears. While Musgrave’s return was a good thing for Green Bay, it didn’t seem to impact Tucker Kraft’s leading role at the TE position all that much.

Kraft significantly out-snapped and outproduced Musgrave in Week 18, which makes him a very intriguing buy for this slate. His 24 receptions over the last six games rank seventh at the TE position during that span.

    Dallas Cowboys Defense ($4,800)

The Cowboys’ defense is capable of putting up some big fantasy performances with pressure on the quarterback and a ball-hawking secondary.

This week, they’ll face off against the Packers’ red-hot quarterback — Jordan Love — who has been on a tear over the last two months of the season.

If the Cowboys can heat up the young QB early in this contest, we could see some mistakes from Love in his first career postseason start.
