Four-time Olympic gold medalist Leon Marchand will be competing in Austin and is set to focus on sprint and stroke events, in addition to the medley. He also trains at the University of Texas under Bowman, and will be looking for victory in what should be a familiar environment for him.
Caeleb Dressel, a nine-time Olympic gold medalist, will compete for the first time since the TYR Pro Swim Series in May. He will compete in the 50 freestyle, 50 butterfly, and 100 butterfly events as he targets a spot on Team USA for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Gretchen Walsh, who earned several medals at the Swimming World Cup, will be competing at the championships.
