    “Lost files of a big chop 💇🏾‍♀️ and back in training 🙏🏾..If God puts a Goliath in front of you, He must believe there’s a David inside of you,” she wrote.

    At the Prefontaine Classic 2021, she ran 10.54s in the 100m, making her the second-fastest woman ever over the distance, behind only Florence Griffith-Joyner’s world record of 10.49s.

    Thompson-Herah kicked off the 2025 New Year with a personal declaration, laying out her intentions and mindset for the year ahead. In an Instagram post, she shared her commitment to her well-being, while expressing trust in the divine plan guiding her life, saying:

    The Jamaican sprint star has consistently expressed her deep faith in God, often crediting Him for her success. She frequently shares messages of gratitude and Bible verses on social media and has openly thanked God after major victories, such as her double-gold performance at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 held in 2021.
