Hall Shed Light on Her Emotions Before Pivotal Achievement at the World Athletics Championships 2025
Coming at the back of a disappointing 2024 season, Hall turned her fortunes around at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where she became a world champion. However, the American heptathlete was very uncertain about her form and momentum in the initial few races of the competition.
Speaking in an interview before the World Championships, Hall said, “I found my joy again, I got my spark back. I think the beginning of this year, I really didn’t know what to expect, and I really didn’t believe in myself. I ran one indoor race, and then I was like, I’m not ready, and went back to training for three months instead of doing World indoors.”
In terms of track and field, Hall carved quite a special season in 2025, winning the heptathlon world title after coming agonizingly close in 2023, where she had to settle for second place.
