Biles and Owens first met in 2020 on the dating app Raya and quickly developed a strong bond. After marrying in 2023, with a courthouse ceremony in Houston, Texas, followed by a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, they now find themselves embarking on a new chapter. Their home in Texas feels fitting, since Owens once played for the Houston Texans and Biles spent years training at the World Champions Centre in Spring, Texas.

Biles Reveals New Hobby She’s Picked Up During Break From Gymnastics

Biles has not competed since the Paris Olympics a year ago, where she earned three gold medals and a silver. She said that because top-level gymnastics takes a lot of energy and focus, she wanted to take a break from the sport. Still, she has found other ways to stay active.

In an interview with Refinery29, she stated that she has decided to take up ice-skating: “The rink is literally three minutes from my house and since I pass it all the time going to and from the airport, I’m like, okay, that’s going to be a fun, little hobby. I walk my dog and I have a weighted vest but just going on walks and seeing the leaves change in the fall is also fun for me.”

She also said in the interview that she has been taking horseback riding lessons, previously revealing she now has access to stables at their new residence in Houston. Although Biles is not in the gymnasium at the moment, it is clear that she can now explore interests that were previously impossible.
