    Penn State Wrestling has once again entered a new season following a fourth straight NCAA title in the last season. They are now looking to continue their winning streak in this new season by aiming for their fifth straight NCAA title and 13th national championship in the past 15 years.

    Notably, this season is already off to a dominating start for the Lions. They secured a victory over Oklahoma on Nov. 14, finishing 45-0.

    What’s New on the Penn State Wrestling Roster?

    For the new season, Penn State wrestling head coach Cael Sanderson has assembled a roster with several new faces. Some notable new names include Freshmen Marcus Blaze (133lbs) and PJ Duke (157lbs), who were the top two recruits in their class. Japanese World Champion Masanosuke Ono (133lbs) will also be joining the roster in the lower weights category.

    Notably, 2024 Big Ten Champion Braeden Davis (141lbs) is set to move up to the middleweights, and so will All-Americans Shayne Van Ness (149lbs).
