Following the end of his season, track star Noah Lyles is focusing on his Spring wedding to his fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, next year. Bromfield shared a video on social media highlighting their contrasting airport outfits: she chose comfort, while Lyles dressed stylishly.
Lyles and Bromfield got engaged in October 2024, after he proposed to her in Miami. The couple enjoyed a surprise party with other close friends and family.
What Did Noah Lyles’ Airport Outfit Look Like?
Lyles’ final competition came at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where he won gold in the 200m and 4x100m Relay. The American is now set to enjoy his time off ahead of next season, with his wedding coming very soon.
In a post on Instagram, Bromfield couldn’t help but find the humor in their contrasting outfits for the airport:
“This is a personality video of me and Noah. This is my outfit, cute and comfy. This is Noah’s outfit. We wouldn’t look like we’re going to the airport together because we’re so…not coordinated.”

Bromfield is a track athlete herself and specializes in the 400m event. Her last official competition was the Paris Olympics, where she failed to advance to the 400m final. With it being over a year since she competed, many have speculated that she might have retired from the sport altogether.
Lyles and Junelle Bromfield Recall Their First Date
Lyles and Bromfield recently reflected on their first date, which occurred when the Jamaican slid into Lyles’ DMs in 2017. After talking for a while, they went on their first date in 2018, and recently discussed how it went in an interview with Essence Magazine:
“She was very quiet. After having so many phone conversations, I wondered why she wasn’t talking.” Lyles said. And Bromfield saw her exact opposite.
She said, “Noah was very confident. I saw him first at junior meets prior to meeting him for the first time, and he was always dancing. When we met in person, the music was loud and he was definitely dancing.”
Lyles shared his thoughts before proposing, saying he almost surprised Bromfield with the ring:
“It took about four months of planning to get the proposal ready, and on many occasions, I was thinking about just throwing it all out the window and just spontaneously proposing to her, but she told me that I could not surprise her on the day when I propose. So I took it as a challenge and stuck to my guns and waited for the day that I had chosen.”
The couple previously said their wedding will draw on both their personalities, featuring an anime-inspired theme and Jamaican elements.
