Lyles’ Foundation has also partnered with one of Jamaica’s own, Asafa Powell, in this noble work of helping the communities in Jamaica. The American athlete and the Jamaican veteran shared a brief message following their first endeavor as part of this project in St. Elizabeth.

In an X post, Lyles wrote, “Hey Everyone The Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation and Asafa Powell are Teaming up to send aid to smaller communities in Jamaica! We have already set a trip for St. Elizabeth.”

Powell also shared a message in the video, stating, “People are suffering right now. As much as I can do and I see a lot of people helping and thanks to Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield.”

Lyles has had an affectionate relationship with Jamaica over the years. His fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, is a Jamaican athlete, and the couple is also set to tie the knot in a few months. Lyles Shares What’s Needed Out of Him to Be Called the Greatest American Sprinter

Throughout his career, Lyles has achieved remarkable success on the track, whether at the Olympics, World Championships, or Diamond League events. However, Lyles feels that he needs to enhance his tally further to be the most outstanding athlete to have come out of the United States so far, overtaking greats such as Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson.

Sharing his stance on him being the greatest American sprinter ever, Lyles said [via Speakeasy], “Not yet. I still believe I need one more gold medal before I want to say that I’ll be the greatest. I’ll tell you when LA comes, and I finally do get those three gold medals, then I’ll say for sure that I am the greatest American sprinter.”
