Nebraska Volleyball Head Coach John Cook Recaps Win Over Oregon To Extend Unbeaten Streak

After the Huskers secured their 22nd win of the season against Oregon, the team’s head coach, Dani Busboom Kelly, reflected on the team’s performance in a press conference following the game. (0:02 onwards)

“I thought it was good. Oregon was playing really, really well and we were talking about them all week, just how they’re much better than their record and when they’re playing well, they’d be really hard to stop. One of the hardest hitting teams in the Big 10 and great serving team. So, we knew it’d be a challenge and I thought we started slow, but we hung in there and really hit our groove.”

She also discussed how happy she was with winning against two difficult teams in Oregon and Wisconsin over the past week:

“When you can go to Wisconsin and get a sweep, that’s really good. And I think a hot Oregon team. I know they just lost to Washington, but I think they were playing really well, and I think that was one of the tougher weekends in the Big 10, playing those two teams back to back.”

The Nebraska Volleyball team are set to play next against Illinois on Thursday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, where they will look to win their 23rd match in a row this season.
