Landi coached Biles from 2017 to 2024, and the coach–tutee relationship evolved into a bond that went beyond the competitive mat. Even after their journey ended, they have continued to show each other admiration and affection, both in person and on social media.
In a recent episode of The Line podcast with Dr. Kristen Holmes, the host expressed eagerness about Biles’ much-anticipated Olympic return, noting that she could not find any articles online confirming it.
In response, Landi revealed that she knows nothing about a comeback. She also shared that the 28-year-old has been focused on supporting her husband, Jonathan Owens, who plays for the Chicago Bears, while remaining in discussions with her sponsors.
She said: “I don’t know. She is doing it like stuff with her sponsors and then being the best NFL wife she can be, supporting Jonathan. So, she’s going to all the games.”
