Dulcy Caylor’s Florida Gators Move Steals The Spotlight as NCAA Gymnastics Reloads With More Exciting Names

NCAA Gymnastics is buzzing with excitement as Dulcy Caylor, CaMarah Williams, and Amalia Ghigoarta prepare to shake up the scene with their transfers. Fans can look forward to their highly anticipated debuts in the 2026-2027 season: Caylor will don the Florida Gators’ colors, Williams heads to Georgia, and Ghigoarta brings her international flair to Michigan State.

Their seasons are set to begin in January next year, with last year’s national championship going to the University of Oklahoma.

How Were NCAA Gymnastics’ Newest Signings Announced?

In addition to Caylor, the Florida Gators signed Kieryn Finnell, Jayla Hang, and Simone Rose, further strengthening head coach Jenny Rowland’s roster. After finishing third at last season’s NCAA Championships, the Gators aim to secure the title this year. Here’s what Rowland had to say about their newest signings in a statement released on their official website:

“I couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome Dulcy, Jayla, Kieryn and Simone to the Gator Family! This group represents everything we value in our program. Extraordinary talent, competitive spirit, strong character, and an unwavering drive to grow both as athletes and people.”

Meanwhile, Williams, who trains with EDGE Gymnastics in Riverside and has competed at the Level 10 national level, was officially announced on Georgia Gymnastics’ Instagram: “𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥!🖤❤️ Welcome to the GymDog Family, CaMarah!” the caption stated.

Ghigoarta joins Michigan State from Romania, where she trained at Liceul cu Program Sportiv “Cetate” in Deva and also competed as part of the national team under the guidance of coaches Corina Morosan and Sebastian Nemes. Head coach Mike Rowe also raved about her performance at the Paris Olympics, stating that her confidence and poise will greatly benefit the squad.

The Other NCAA Gymnasts Who Signed For Michigan and Georgia

Both Michigan State and Georgia had disappointing seasons last year, with Michigan finishing eighth at the NCAA Championships and Georgia unable to qualify for the nationals after placing seventh at the SEC Championships. They needed to strengthen ahead of next season, with both teams doing just that.

Georgia has welcomed a wave of new talent alongside Williams, including Jada Kim, Jazmyn Jimenez, Kendall Knox, and Sutton Strasser. Each gymnast arrives with a unique skill set and a promising start to their career, adding depth and versatility to the team.

Michigan State’s recruiting class also features Riley Fain, Christina Fallon, and Jordyn Johnson joining Ghigoarta. Fain stands out as a top regional qualifier and vault specialist, while Johnson brings national-level experience and the promise of future stardom.
