Following the astounding win against Ohio, Husker Middle Blocker Andi Jackson spoke about the team’s dominance, noting that they are gearing up to accomplish new feats going forward.

The Cornhuskers swept Ohio State (25-16, 25-13, 25-20), with Jackson and Harper Murray delivering 17 combined kills for the game. This victory marked the third time the Huskers have completed the regular season undefeated in school history.

What Did Nebraska Volleyball’s Andi Jackson Say About The Huskers’ Dominance

During a post-game media press conference, Jackson shed some light on the team’s mindset following their iconic victory. A reporter asked her to speak about how it feels to have accomplished one of their biggest goals this season, and she noted that now that the Big Ten season is over, the slate has been wiped clean.

“It’s zero-zero now. So everything we’ve done, the Big 10 season, it’s over now and preseason obviously has been over. So new record, clean slate, every team is a brand new team and it’s a new journey from here on out and we know that,” Jackson said.

The 20-year-old volleyball star revealed that the team is now focused on what lies ahead. As such, they plan to head right back into training to prepare for achieving even bigger goals in the future.

“So we’re just going to go back into the gym come tomorrow and get to work again and stay locked in on what’s ahead,” she added.
