While the Vegas Golden Knights took a 1-0 series lead over the Minnesota Wild in Sin City, the Wild have since turned the tables.
Not only did the Wild win Game 2 in Vegas to knot the series at 1-1, but they also took down the Golden Knights in Game 3 of the series by a 5-2 final score at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, securing a two-games-to-one lead.
Now, the Golden Knights are faced with the task of having to win the next three of four games in order to avoid elimination.
Golden Knights Fans Express Frustration With Game 3 Loss to Wild

One Golden Knights fan seemed to think the end was near, saying, “That’s the series. Next year maybe.”

Another Vegas fan couldn’t believe the result, saying, “We got bullied by Minnesota. We deserve to lose.”
One fan had this to say: “Whelp. 2 bad games. Gotta get it going. Early deficits are brutal.”
Another fan called out the entire team, saying, “what is going on vegas jeez guys I mean adin hill is not playing good and the whole team needs to step it up.”
This Golden Knights fan wasn’t happy with goaltender Adin Hill, saying, “Take hill out of the net for the rest of the series. Boldy is killing him.”
Finally, this fan had a simple question: “We aren’t the same team man WTF is happening”
Golden Knights Players Refuse To Panic
Despite the disappointing loss that resulted in their trailing in the series, Golden Knights players aren’t hitting the panic button. Multiple players on their roster have championship experience, and they understand that the playoffs come with bumps and bruises along the way.
“There’s no panic,” William Karlsson said. “It’s one game at a time. All we can focus on is the next one, right? You know, get to status quo and go back to Vegas. That’s what we’re aiming for.”
“Overall, I think we had a really good game,” forward Ivan Brbashev said. “I feel like we found some more offensive zone movement like we used to have. Just couldn’t make the last play.”
“I think we have to be harder on them. To us it’s a little wake-up call and we have to be harder on them as a team.”
Game 4 between the Golden Knights and Wild will be played on Saturday afternoon; puck drop is scheduled for 4:00 PM EST.
