Travis Hunter is a truly unique college football player. He is able to play the entire game on both sides of the ball while making an elite-level impact, a feat that isn’t often seen in this game.
With the Colorado Buffaloes season underway on Thursday night, Hunter picked up where he left off last season and caught the attention of the NFL world while doing so.
NFL World Impressed By Travis Hunter’s Week 1 Performance
Heading into the season, Hunter was viewed as a Heisman Trophy front-runner, and if Week 1 against North Dakota State is any indication of what’s to come in 2024, we’re all in for a fun ride.
Hunter finished with seven receptions, 132 receiving yards, and three touchdowns on offense while collecting three tackles and playing both sides of the ball for the entirety of the game. Not only was Hunter out there on the field for much of the game, but he was making a profound impact while doing so.
With highlight plays and an overall impressive Week 1 performance underway, the NFL world took to social media to share their thoughts on the rare talent.
It takes a lot to impress Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and according to the playmaker, Hunter gets the stamp of approval: “Travis Hunter one of them ones.”
